- Improve Psychosocial Support by creating and maintaining a comprehensive statewide and national network of psychosocial resources to ensure patients and their families have the support they need.
- Close gaps in care by identifying unmet needs and collaborating to develop new programs and initiatives that directly address these gaps.
- Our primary goal is to support and enhance communication among all pediatric and AYA cancer stakeholders throughout Colorado. By working together we can:
- Increase awareness within the Colorado Cancer Coalition by maintaining a consistent presence to raise awareness about the unique challenges faced by children, adolescents and young adults with cancer and their families. This includes advocating for policies that support their care, research and long-term survivorship.
- Collaborate with other Task Forces on shared goals. We will actively seek partnerships with other task forces to collaborate. By sharing resources and expertise, we can amplify our impact and create a more cohesive and effective network of support for everyone impacted by cancer in Colorado.
