Cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers are invited to join us to hear from Chinelo Tyler, Grassroots Advocacy Manager for ACS CAN (Cancer Action Network), and Missy Wright, Associate Director of Cancer Center Partnerships with the American Cancer Society (ACS), who will cover the financial impact of a cancer diagnosis. Topics include the costs of cancer, the impact of recent changes in healthcare coverage legislation, how to use your lived experience to advocate/volunteer for change, and ACS programs and services.
