Financial Barriers

To achieve the objectives of Goal 6.2 of the Colorado Cancer Plan, Financial Barriers Task Force member organizations collaborate to (a) assess the scope of need for financial assistance to address medical, cost-of-living, and other expenses for individuals undergoing treatment for cancer in Colorado; (b) communicate that need to community leaders and decision-makers; and (3) provide resources to reduce financial barriers for individuals receiving quality cancer treatment in Colorado. The Financial Barriers Task Force seeks to leverage the expertise of local financial assistance organizations, health care providers and hospital systems, survivors, researchers and others with knowledge about financial aspects of treating cancer.
