September is Thyroid Cancer Awareness Month and the ThyCa Denver Support Group is putting on a Special Brewery Event to raise money for ThyCa: The Thyroid Cancer Survivor’s Association.
The event costs $40 (at the door) and you will get a 5 oz. souvenir glass from Prost Brewing and 3 hours of unlimited beer. $20 of the price will be going directly to ThyCa. There will also be a Silent Auction to raise additional money for ThyCa. Members of the ThyCa Denver Support Group and Doctors/Specialists who treat Thyroid Cancer will be at the event to share information about ThyCa and Thyroid Cancer and give you a Neck Check with some great Black Shirt beers.
ThyCa’s mission is:
To Educate, so we and our families better understand our disease.
To Participate, so others learn from our experience.
To Communicate, so we and our health care professionals better understand each others’ needs.
To Support Research, for a future free of thyroid cancer.
100% of the money raised at the event will go to ThyCa to provide support to Thyroid Cancer patients and to fund Research in to finding new treatments and cures for Thyroid Cancer.
