This four-week Integrative Therapy workshop focuses on being present in the moment, living intentionally and utilizing calming strategies to reduce the impact of stress. On event day, canine companions and their owners celebrate cancer survivorship, honor those lost to cancer, and raise funds to help finish the fight against cancer

Magdalene Lim, PsyD, clinical psychologist with the UCCS Aging Center will discuss how cancer treatment can impact cognitive functioning. Participants will learn when a memory screen or neuropsychological evaluation is warranted and will become familiar with the UCCS Aging Center services.
